One Week and Counting

Today marks the start of our one week countdown till our journey begins! We leave in exactly seven days to begin our journey across magical Europe with Harry, Ron, Hermione, and a few other characters from the wizarding world we all love.

Over the past year, we have been creating the Harry Potter dream itinerary. We set off next Monday to not only visit the filming locations of all eight movies, but explore the places that inspired Jo Rowling’s magical world. Join us on our five month journey across Europe to experience the magical world through the eyes of Rowling as we battle Hungarian Horntails in Hungary, visit vampires in Germany’s black forest, and drink beer in Hagrid’s hut in Glencoe Scotland.

  1. I hope you two have a great time on your trip. It’s a (hopefully not) once in a lifetime experience that definitely won’t be forgotten anytime soon. I can’t wait to read about it.

  2. You’ve got to visit The Firehouse pub in Exeter, UK – J.K.’s inspiration for the Leaky Cauldron, and Goathland Station in North Yorkshire, aka Hogsmede Station. Both are awesome! Have fun!

  3. Ryan And Karen,
Looks like you guys are having a great time! The adventure is only .beginning……..
In my prayers, all the best, Love Dad πŸ™‚
